Clinical supervision

I currently work with social workers, psychologists and counsellors who are seeking clinical and emotional support to connect more deeply with their clients and feel professionally and personally rewarded in this very honourable profession.

Sound Healing

Sound healing is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. It works by entraining the body's natural frequencies, helping to release tension, balance energy, and create a sense of safety. Research indicates that sound frequencies can reduce stress and lower cortisol levels, which are linked to inflammation and chronic illness. Vibrational therapies, created by instruments such as singing bowls or tuning forks, have been found to enhance circulation, reduce pain, and support tissue repair. Additionally, sound healing can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, improving digestion, lowering blood pressure, and aiding recovery from fatigue.

Studies also indicate that specific sound frequencies can enhance mood, and even improve sleep. When used for trauma, sound healing complements somatic approaches by engaging the body directly, bypassing cognitive barriers often present in trauma recovery. Sound vibrations can help release stored tension, regulate the autonomic nervous system, and promote a sense of safety. This supports the body’s natural ability to process and integrate trauma, fostering healing on a cellular level.
